Terms of Service

Welcome to Fieldo (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, marketplace, or services (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree, you must not use Fieldo.

  1. Our Role Fieldo is a marketplace platform that connects dog owners with landowners offering secure fields for private hire. We do not own, operate, or control any fields listed on the platform. Bookings are agreements between field owners (“Providers”) and customers (“Users”). Fieldo is not a party to those agreements.

  2. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old to use Fieldo. By using the Platform, you confirm you have the legal right and authority to enter into these Terms.

  3. Accounts You must provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.

  4. Bookings & Payments All bookings are made through the Platform using our secure payment provider (e.g. Stripe). Payment is collected at the time of booking. Providers receive payouts subject to Stripe’s terms and Fieldo’s service fees. Fieldo is not responsible for late payments, chargebacks, or disputes between Users and Providers.

  5. Cancellations & Refunds Each Provider may set their own cancellation and refund rules. Unless otherwise stated in the listing, all bookings are non-refundable. Fieldo is not obligated to issue refunds or reimbursements except where required by law.

  6. Provider Responsibilities Providers agree to: Accurately describe their field and its conditions. Ensure the field is safe, secure, and suitable for dog exercise. Comply with all local laws, regulations, and land use restrictions. Honour confirmed bookings.

  7. User Responsibilities Users agree to: Supervise their dogs and ensure safe use of the field. Comply with the Provider’s rules (including maximum dogs, waste disposal, noise). Leave the field as they found it. Accept that use of the field is at their own risk.

  8. Safety & Risk Fieldo does not inspect or guarantee the safety or quality of any field. Users enter fields at their own risk. Fieldo is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during a booking.

  9. Disputes Any disputes between Users and Providers must be resolved directly between them. Fieldo may, at its discretion, assist in dispute resolution, but is under no obligation to do so.

  10. Service Fees Fieldo charges a service fee on each booking, deducted automatically at checkout. Fees are non-refundable.

  11. Prohibited Use You must not use Fieldo to: Post false or misleading listings. Engage in fraud, abuse, or illegal activities. Harass, abuse, or harm other users.

  12. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law: Fieldo is not liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or disputes arising from use of the Platform or bookings made through it. Fieldo’s total liability to you will not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

  13. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fieldo from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your listings, or your bookings.

  14. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via the Platform or email. Continued use of Fieldo after changes means you accept the new Terms.

  15. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
